Fate, Courage, Groundhog Day, and the Edge of Tomorrow

Fate, Courage, Groundhog Day, and the Edge of Tomorrow

This isn’t precisely a review as it’s got major spoilers, but I felt I really had to go deeper into the story and characters of the Tom Cruise movie Edge of Tomorrowthan the short review I gave it. I really love this movie. Frankly, I think it really isa better Groundhog Day, and that’s saying a lot. Bill Murray is fucking brilliant, and nice guy/blue pill romantic elements of the script aside, his portrayal of Phil, the arrogant, jaded, and cocky weatherman is awe inspiring. You start with the…

Loki's Child

Loki’s Child reads like the unholy offspring of Robert Anton Wilson’s *Shroedinger’s Cat *trilogy, and This is Spinal Tap. Better yet, they had a huge free library, often consisting of the first book or two in a series, allowing you to get to know pretty much all…

The Rageaholic

If you’re tired of your mundane existence of forlornly sitting on your couch snorting a bowl of cheetos and want to get at least some glimmer of what epic is like the shadow of reality on the wall of Plato’s cave, check out the latest addition to my blog list –  Razorfist’s YouTube channel [https://www.youtube.com/user/xRazorFistx]. I can but try, and fail, but to emulate his style, and bask in the glory that is his turn of phrase, profane and hysterical. Cursing to turn a church lady an imposs…
