A generally good podcast , this episode is in and of itself fascinating, but I stopped listening to the overall show after time for several reasons. Some assumptions obvious here but insignificant to the story other than his mention at the beginning how “society had progressed since then” – that society “progresses.”- some only through listening to others, but he tends to a “pox on both their houses” as being “above it all” and doesn’t examine some of his assumptions.
